Patrizia Gianni
Starting as a tango dancer in 2004, she has been a DJ since 2009.
Patrizia is one of the most popular Dj’s in Greece. She has played in all the milongas of Athens, as well as various festivals and marathons within Greece and Europe.
She plays with a dynamic and sentimental mood and her aim in the selection of every tanda is to transmit the energy created by the music into a unique dancing experience.
Ali Kemal Özkan
A famous international TDJ, instructor, dancer and organiser from Turkey since 2002. He has been invited to many marathon & festivals as a DJ in Turkey, China, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Portugal, Romania and Greece. He likes to select his tandas from Golden Age recordings and always keep the energy high in the dancing hall.
Tonia Papadaki
Based in Chania, Crete, Tonia is a doctor whose heart beats for tango.
She began dancing in 2007 and started DJing in 2010, driven by her passion for the music. Since then, she has played at many events across Greece, including A los Amigos (8 editions), Tango Nomads, Tangoneon, Tango Ti Amo, and Arsenali Tango Marathon.
Her sets are rooted in the Golden Age, rich in rhythmic and melodic diversity. She also enjoys adding a touch of modern orchestras to keep the floor inspired.
Timos Slavidis
Timos loves tango and everything starts right from this point! He first encountered tango in 2009 and started as a Tango DJ in 2018. He likes playing music of the Golden age, with a touch of energetic new orchestras. He reads, listens, attends seminars and travels in order to improve his knowledge. He played in several milongas, festival & marathons in Greece, Hungary, Serbia & Latvia. When he plays music, his purpose is to interact with the audience so that they can enjoy the music and achieve their maximum dancing pleasure.
Giorgos Pichis
Dj Giorgos Pichis (Rhodes, Greece) Giorgos fell in love with tango in 2007. Since then, he has aspired to absorb not only the intricacies of the dance, but also the beauty of the music. He has participated in many tango events both in Greece and abroad. His selection of music aims to drag you to the dancefloor in each tanda. That’s what he will do in Rhodes Tango Marathon as well! Dirk Smout
A trained musician, Dirk Smout (Swango) comes from Brussels (Belgium), and has been dancing tango since 2003 and brings a deep musical sensitivity to the dance floor. As a TDJ, he has played in numerous respected milongas, including Floréo, Tangobar, Le Cercle, Tango N’amor, and many others. Dirk is known for his joyful and uplifting musical selections, skillfully blending timeless classics with fresh, creative reinterpretations. His sets are brought to life with playful cortinas and a vibrant energy that keeps dancers smiling all night long.
Giorgos Marias
Giorgos Marias, a seasoned tango dancer from Rhodes, Greece, has over 10 years of experience in the world of tango. His passion for the dance has taken him to festivals and marathons across Europe and Turkey. In recent years, Giorgos has embraced DJing at milongas, combining his deep knowledge of tango music and dance to curate sets that capture the essence of each tanda. With a keen understanding of rhythm, mood, and the energy of the dance floor, Giorgos creates unforgettable tango experiences that resonate with dancers of all levels.
