Ali Kemal Özkan
A famous international TDJ, instructor, dancer and organiser from Turkey since 2002. He has been invited to many marathon & festivals as a DJ in Turkey, China, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Portugal, Romania and Greece. He likes to select his tandas from Golden Age recordings and always keep the energy high in the dancing hall.
Monika
If tango is played and danced differently wherever you go, then you should be able to hear it in Monika’s music. Tango “educated” in London, she’s in love with the energy of Southern Europe, but always romantic and Slavic at heart. Monika loves Golden Age era (Troilo & D’Arienzo fan girl) and keeps it as the core of her set, but depending on the time of day or night enjoys sprinkling some special pieces, both newer arrangements and Guardia Vieja hits. She’s also a geek for Cortinas so will likely keep you grooving during and in between tandas.
Konrad Krynski
Konrad has spent way too much time over the years researching and collecting tango music, but it was all worth it for the enjoyable, exciting and intriguing experiences he gives to the dancers. When he DJs, Konrad selects from a broad range of the most famous classical tango orchestras from mid-20ies till late 70ies, spiced up with rare yet exciting danceable pieces, enjoying the variety of tunes, understanding what works together and carefully watching the dancefloor. In short, he will rip his heart out and give it to you.
